Skin care is important. Everybody wants to always look young and have glowing skin. However, it can only be achieved through healthy skin, which can only be realized through proper skin care.

Below is a list of steps that we must do for your night-care routine.

Cleanse

Before going to bed, it is important that you clean your face to remove makeup, dirt, dust and grease that builds up on your skin throughout the day. Cleaning your face will also allow the skin to breathe and keep the pores tight and flawless.

Remove any traces of makeup using a makeup remover. Afterwards, wash your face with a mild soap or facial cleanser. Gently massage the cleanser on your face and neck, then thoroughly rinse off theresidue with water.


Tone

Moisturize

Increased skin temperature in the evening can trigger hydration and accelerate aging. Applying a moisturizer at night allows the skin to be deeply moisturized to prevent skin aging and redeem its youthful appearance. Splash some water on your face before you apply any moisturizing cream.

An effective moisturizer removes dead skin cells and pollutants, rejuvenate the skin, and nourish it with vitamins and minerals; thereby, helps with skin regeneration. Use an all-natural organic moisturizer to avoid skin irritation.

Use an Eye Cream

There are no oil glands around the eyes; therefore, using an eye cream around the eye will help restore the skin and lessen puffiness and dark circles.


Gently apply an eye cream under and around the eye using light, gentle circular strokes. Look for eye creams with lightening ingredients, such as kojic acid, that will help dark spots disappear. Eye creams with vitamin K force unoxygenated blood out and allow fresh blood to flow.

Sleep soundly

Your skin also needs to rest. An eight-hour sleep cycle each night is very important to regenerate the skin cells. Insufficient sleep leads to the production of stress hormones causing wrinkles to your skin.

Use a satin pillowcase. It does not only smooth frazzled strands but also softens the appearance of lines and wrinkles due to the reduced friction between your face and the pillowcase.

Nightly skin care routine will not take more than 10 minutes of your time. No matter what your skin type is, it is important that you implement a nightly skin care routine to help your skin stay soft and smooth; thus, maintain its youthful glow.
